2012 8th Grade Celebration Planning

Planning for the 2012 8th Grade Celebration is underway. Check the calendar for planning committee meeting dates and times.

Come to a meeting to learn more about how you can participate. Our sub-committees include Fundraising, Bake Sales, Bagel Sales, Decorations, Reception, Ceremony, Dance, and Video and we have many areas where we can put your talents to use!

If you are the parent of a 7th grader, we need you too! It is tradition at BCS that 7 th grade parents help with this event.

Flamingo Flocking Fundraser

The 8th Grade Celebration Committee is raising money for the 8th Grade Graduation, Reception and Dance. For a donation of $25, a flock of 25 pink plastic lawn flamingos will be delivered to a classmate, friend or family member - anyone you know who resides within the BPS school district. The flock will roost for approximately 24 hours on a lawn before migrating to a new location.

Teachers may be “flocked” at school with Pinky, our two foot stuffed flamingo. Pinky will roost in the teacher’s classroom until another teacher's classroom becomes more appealing!

Submit your order form on or before November 5th, 2011

Don’t delay! This is a limited time offer. Our flamingos will head south for the winter!

We'd like to extend a huge "Thank You" to all the parents and staff who worked so hard to make this year's Celebration the beautiful event that it was! This type of dedication is what makes BCS such a great place to be. To all of the families that are graduating from BCS, we'd like to wish you much success and happiness in all of your future endeavors.

To commemorate the years that the Class of 2011 spent at BCS, the graduating 8th graders presented the school with two Crimson Red Maple Trees and a sundial for the Peace Garden. Please stop and enjoy them when you have a moment.
